This is one of two houses we rented in Newtonmore. It was called “Te Bheag” (or “Tea Bag” according to one of our party). This was the larger of the two houses, and was where we all gathered for a meal every other day. Quantities were generous - once we ate so much we could hardly move!
Our minibus is outside.

All around the village are scenic walks which form the “Wildcat Trail”. These are some of the sights we saw on our walks

The other cottage (above) was at the other end of the village, about 25 minutes walk away. It was made of wood and very cosy.
